christmas eve

We had a great Christmas Eve! To start off while we were getting ready Cole decided to go downstairs and play with his toys. It got really quiet so I went to check on him and found him opening presents from under the tree! He had done so well all month not touching them. I guess he figured since I had opened some that morning that he could open some. We had to re-wrap Jackson and Kenzie's presents...

We spent most of the afternoon at Grace's hanging out and eating. Then we went to the Peterson family Christmas party at my parents. Mmmmm I love Christmas Eve dinner, prime rib, potatoes and lots of yummy salads and desserts.

He got a moving dinosaur from his cousin Michael! He thought it was great until it moved and roared at him. He was quite scared. It was really funny to watch. He really wanted to play with it but was so scared of it...

(Yes my dad has a black eye, he fell off a bucket a few days before and his eye was swollen shut and all bruised up. Along with my mom whose foot/ankle was broken and in a boot and katie getting an IV for cellulitis they looked like they had all been in a car accident lol)
