Saturday on our way back to the hotel from the race the OTHER trailer tire popped! I know, I know, we should of got new tires before now but we were so busy and had forgot about it. It was just Kevin, Katie, Cole, Hallie and I now.
After Kevin struggled to get the tire off and trailer unhitched from the truck (because we had already used the spare) we raced into Moab hoping somewhere was still open being that it was 5:30 on Saturday night.
Of course all the tire shops were closed. We were really upset because that meant two things, we had to leave the bikes out in the middle of no where over night (so Kevin was going to sleep out there with them) and if no one was open on Sunday we were not going to be able to go riding at all the rest of the trip.
Kevin decided to try and stop at a Yamaha dealership that was open just to see if by chance they could help. Lucky for us the manager there took pity on us and let us borrow one of her trailer tires and it fit! We were sooo grateful.
Kevin got up early Sunday (which was Father's Day, poor guy) and returned the tire and luckily found a shop open and we got new tires!

And one last ride on our way home to Uranium Arch
Cole's head was soaked with sweat when we were done from his helmet
On our way home Kevin was so sad that he wasn't going to be able to change one of our tires he noticed someone else tire, had them pull over and helped fix theirs!
Overall we had a great vacation and so much fun with everyone who came! It is so nice to get away...

How fun! The tire trauma reminds me of a few years ago when we had both tires on one side of the trailer pop on the way home from the dunes. It's no fun! By the way we need to get together soon!!!
