Surgery for ME

The night of Vivian's blessing I had a gallbladder attack. I have had gallbladder problems for a few years now but this was bad. It lasted 7 hours and was some of the most pain I have ever been in. Kevin and I ended up going to the ER at 2 AM. After being admitted, blood draws and a test it was determined that I had 4 gallstones. My gallbladder needed to be removed.

A week later Kevin took me to Timp hospital and I had my gallbladder out. The nurse sucked at doing my IV, I was pretty nervous about being put under but it ended up ok. I took forever to wake up. The pain was worse then having a baby and it wasn't fun because I couldn't pick up anything for a few days. I was totally drugged up and everyone had to hand Viv to me to nurse her. Katie came home from school and Jamie and Kellie came over and we hung out. It was fun just sitting around a few days with my sisters doing nothing but I was glad to be feeling better.
Overall it took 4-6 weeks before I was feeling better.
I am glad I had it removed and don't have to deal with that pain or the chance of a stone getting stuck in my pancreas = death :)
