halloween

We had such a fun Halloween! Cole decided to be a teenage mutant Ninja Turtle. Thomas was one when he was little so we pulled out the back crawl space to find it. Hallie and Cole found all sorts of things to play with. Thomas also helped Cole by making him some nun-chucks to go with the costume. Cole got to dress up in his costume 4 times and LOVED every second. Hallie got to dress up 3 times and did great.

First was for Cole's preschool party. I was so worried cause we didn't have any green paint. Kevin had gone into work at 4 AM and got off earlier then expected. He stopped at the store and got our paint! Daddy saved the day. Cole truly looked like a Ninja Turtle.

Second we went to Grace's trunk or treat! Hallie was a scarecrow. Her costume took about an hour to make. The hat for the costume took about 4. We had a great time eating, getting pictures and going room to room "trunk - or - treating" with Morgan, Kaydance and Kaddan.

Third was at my parents annual Halloween party. The kids got to "trick - or - treat" around the house and then we carved pumpkins.

Fourth was on Halloween to go for real "trick - or - treating"

The kids had a great time and for days Cole has been talking about a Frankenstein that we saw when we were out. Everyone loved my costume and couldn't believe that it was my real belly, not material. Kevin was a very good painter! I love holidays!
