bowling in morgan

Lisa's husband, Mitch, and his family rent out a bowling alley in Morgan every year for their Christmas party. This year they invited the whole Hansen family! We had SO much fun! Kevin had to work so Cole, Hallie and I drove up with Grace. Cole loved being on a team with the girls and bowling on his "own". Thank you so much Lisa and Mitch, we truly had an awesome time!

our gingerbread house

WE had a great time decorating our pre-made ginger bread house. Cole really seemed to enjoy it. He even played "guys" with it and it was their house. I LOVE how he gets this concentrated look on his face. It reminds me of his dad!

visiting dee

Late October or early November we went to Logan to visit Dee! It was so fun having a day out. We went to Texas Raodwhore to eat. The plan was to go to Utah States football game after but it was POURING and FREEZING so we went to the mall instead. Then we headed over to our favorite ice cream place SUB ZERO, mmmm

Cole took many of the pics

It was so fun to go with many of the Hansen girls and to see where Dee lives!

decorating the tree

Decorating the tree was so fun this year. Cole wanted to help every bit he could from putting up the lights, to watering to putting on the ornaments. Sadly enough I don't think I got a good picture of it finished until Christmas Day

santa and carriage ride

Trolley Square is such a fun place and to me it wouldn't be Christmas time without going there. The smell, the decor, the poinsettias going up the columns and the feel that is there is warming to me. I used to work there every year at Christmas time since I was 11. Besides they always have an awesome Santa.
We went on their open house weekend and got to go on a free carriage ride around Trolley. Jamie and her family were there and in line with my Uncle Charlies family, so we kind of just butt in line. It ended up being a good thing cause the wait was really long (sorry people behind us). Cole loved seeing the horses and kept his date very warm.
After the carriage ride we went to see Santa. Cole had an "accident" right before we got to Santa. When we walked up to Santa he tried to put Cole on his lap and I was like "no, its ok, he will just stand". I am sure I looked liked a paranoid mom creeped out by Santa but really it was for Santa's own good. Well Cole and Santa had a nice LONG chat. Cole kept going on and on about what he wanted, I thought it was pretty cute!
