hallie is one

Happy First Birthday Baby Girl!

I can't believe a year has gone by. Hallie has been such a good baby and is growing so fast. We love her curly hair and her happy attitude. Hallie is always smiling and laughing. Hallie's favorite person is Cole. Those two are best friends. Hallie likes to feed herself and loves real food, not baby food. She is walking and running all over. She loves her binkie. We are so grateful Hallie is ours. We love you cuteness buns!

Here are her stats from her one year appointment

17 lbs 14 oz (5th %)
27 3/4" (11th %)
37 % for head

party prep

There has been a ton of party preparation going on at our house the last few months! Hallie is turning 1! I love planning parties and this one is going to be huge! Even Kevin has been kind enough to help!

Some of the projects have been a sewing rolls and rolls of streamers (about 20 hours worth), cupcake liner H, fabric ball cupcake toppers, ice cream cone fondant cupcake toppers, marshmallow holder, butter mints, cupcake decoration, icecream cups, etc.

The night before I dipped strawberries and made strawberry filled cupcakes.

Boy Hallie better feel LOVED and know this is the biggest party she will ever get! hehehe

wheelin in ephraim

Thomas and Kenzie wanted to take her new FJ to Ephraim to go wheelin'. Kevin happened to have the day off so we went along too and of course picked up Katie from her apartment. It was a fun day but ended up being quite eventful and expensive.

The FJ got stuck in the mud in the first 5 minutes. Then the 4-wheeler bounced into our back window and shattered it. Last a stick poked into the FJ's wheel and popped it.

Overall we had fun but next time would like it to cost a bit less!

nickle cade

We took the kids to Nicklecade! They had a great time. Cole had so much being able to play whatever games he wanted as many times as he wanted. He also really enjoyed getting tickets and prizes. He is so sweet and made sure to get his sister a prize.

Surgery for ME

The night of Vivian's blessing I had a gallbladder attack. I have had gallbladder problems for a few years now but this was bad. It lasted 7 hours and was some of the most pain I have ever been in. Kevin and I ended up going to the ER at 2 AM. After being admitted, blood draws and a test it was determined that I had 4 gallstones. My gallbladder needed to be removed.
A week later Kevin took me to Timp hospital and I had my gallbladder out. The nurse sucked at doing my IV, I was pretty nervous about being put under but it ended up ok. I took forever to wake up. The pain was worse then having a baby and it wasn't fun because I couldn't pick up anything for a few days. I was totally drugged up and everyone had to hand Viv to me to nurse her. Katie came home from school and Jamie and Kellie came over and we hung out. It was fun just sitting around a few days with my sisters doing nothing but I was glad to be feeling better.
Overall it took 4-6 weeks before I was feeling better.
I am glad I had it removed and don't have to deal with that pain or the chance of a stone getting stuck in my pancreas = death :)

five minutes and markers

This is what happens when a 3 year old gets a hold of a marker and has a few minutes to themselves!
