COLE

Cole is so funny! He is growing up too fast. He loves to help me with everything and if he ever hears a baby cry he makes sure to tell me "its crying mom, the baby is crying". I know he is going to just LOVE his sister when she gets here. Grace reminded me that I need to write the things down that Cole does so I don't forget, here is a list of just a few things:

-For the past 4 weeks Cole has been calling Kevin "Kevin". He will refer to Kevin to me as "dad" or "daddy" but to Kevin its only "Kevin". For example when I am on the phone he says "let me talk to dad" takes the phone and says "hi Kevin!" It is pretty funny. Kevin kept telling me people are going to wonder if he is Cole's dad or not. The other day someone actually asked my sister if Kevin was Cole's "REAL" dad! HAHAHA

-Cole always calls his diapers "disgusting" but has absolutely NO interest in going in the toilet

-Cole says "ahh man" after questions, when he guesses the wrong color/number/letter or when he doesn't hear what he wants

-Cole tells me "good job, mom" when he asks me what something is and I tell him the answer

-Cole loves to say "one second" holds up his finger and finishes or starts what he wants

-Cole is in a big boy bed now

-Cole climbs into my bed around 7 AM and sleeps with me until we wake up (Kevin leaves at 3:15 AM for work)

-Cole says the funniest things when he first wakes up, for example cole: "Mom! They are lost!" me: "what are lost?" cole: "my eyebrows, they are lost" as he is frantically feeling all over his little forehead. I had to show him where they were!

-The other night he ran into my room because he was having a nightmare "mom, the hippos are trying to kiss me!"

-Cole woke up the other morning, said "one second, mom" and ran away. A few minutes later appeared with a box of cereal and started feeding me cereal in bed

-Cole knows most of the alphabet (singing it and finding the letters)

-Cole can count to ten and almost to 15 (sometimes he skips number five or six)

-Cole knows most colors

-Cole knows most shapes. His favorites are triangles, ovals, circles and squares. He always points these out on floors/streets if they are on the ground

-Cole loves to be tickled, he often says "ticka me mom"

-Cole has started to notice freckles and calls them "freckers"

-Cole ends everything with the persons name he is talking too, "yes, katie"

-Cole LOVES to hide under blankets. He just giggles the whole time. If you are with him he makes you get under the blanket too and says "what you think"? or "now what"?

-Cole likes to talk to my belly and give it kisses and pats

-Cole loves to sing "Do As I'm Doing"and gets so excited when we get the "fast" part

-Cole likes to say his prayers and can say part of them without me telling him what to say

-Cole LOVES to watch "bikes" with daddy

-Cole has definitely hit the terrible twos and thinks it is so funny to do exactly what I tell him not to, runs from me at the stores, climbs onto everything, etc.

-Cole loves to take pictures with the camera
