our first two weeks

Our first two weeks with baby Hallie have been great! The first week Kevin didn't have to work so we spent our time hanging out, watching movies and sleeping when we could.

Monday Kevin started back to work so Cole and I have been adjusting to being just us with a new baby. Cole wants to hold her constantly and still doesn't get the concept of being careful around Hallie.

He also tries to pick her up on his own to hold her. We have already had to have the discussion that baby Hallie can't eat normal food, especially not cookies. (He had tried to feed one to her).

Cole is having a hard time sleeping in his bed now that Hallie is here, I feel like I am up with him more at night then my newborn. Any suggestions are welcome!

Cole has LOVED showing off to everyone who has come to visit!

Thank you to everyone who has come and for the wonderful gifts. Also thank you Grace, Mom, Dad, Jamie, Kellie and Katie for the dinners! We truly appreciated them!

Hallie had her two week appointment

She has gained almost a whole pound since we left the hospital! Dr. Spencer was very thrilled.

She now weighs 7 lbs. 11 oz (50% ile)

19 3/4 " long (50% ile)

Hallie's head is in the 75% ile

She had to get her foot pricked and didn't like it much.

Hallie still sleeps pretty well and I can't complain!

We are all doing great and just enjoying our new little girl.

It was really warm so we took Cole to the park to get out and play! We also found a new sandwich place called ZUBS in Springville. It is absolutely delicious...
