Poor katie had to get her gal-bladder removed a few weeks ago. She was home from school and needed to go to Ephraim and get clothes and her homework since she would be missing a week. Hallie and I decided to go with her so she wasn't alone.
Katie had looked up the weather to see how it would be driving. The only thing it said was a severe storm warning for the state of Utah on Tuesday from 4-9. Well it was Monday so off we went.
The drive there was great and we had tons of fun talking and laughing. We were at her apartment for maybe 15 minutes getting stuff and back on the road.
As soon as we hit Nephi canyon a blizzard hit us! It was one of the worst storms I had ever driven through. There were no cars in front of us so Katie was the lead. Half way down the canyon there was a huge accident involving a semi and a rolled truck.
The rest of the drive home was a blizzard but Katie did great! The funniest part was all the signs on the freeway kept saying Severe Storm Warning Tuesday 4-9. We kept thinking "What about the storm now?"
Seeing Katie drive in the storm reminded me of myself. Notice how close she is leaning towards the steering wheel...
