I had soooo much fun at our Hansen Family Chocolate Day! We made chocolates and candy from 9 AM until 6 PM (atleast). I was nervous to make the fondant on my own without my dad there to tell me how I was doing it wrong. But if I say so myself I think it turned out pretty dang good! It was great to realize that I can re-create my Grandmas recipe on my own.
I really hope we continue to do this every year. It was so great to learn new recipes and techniques from the Hansen's that I never knew. Most of all it was great to just spend the day with my other family!

Now what were the totals? 17 lbs chocolate, 8 cups peanut butter filling, 3-4 batches of fondant, 100's of pretzels and 1 bowl of gross looking pasta? Let's do it again!
