halloween party

* PAM and LISA
This entry has a few small pictures of FAKE spiders and snakes.
Feel free to skip it...

My dad informed me I have a rare disease and that I must of got it from him and my mom. What disease is this you ask? Well I am not sure if it has a name but its symptoms are: loving to throw parties that take a ton of time, effort, stress, cause a big mess and then its over in an hour or two. Ya I definitely got it...

My mom and I decided it would be fun to throw a Halloween party for the grandkids. My mom had fun buying all the stuff and I had fun planning it all. The night before and day of I was a baking/cooking fool! Good thing I have a wonderful husband who helped all day.

Once we got to my parents they dropped everything to help get it all set up, even Thomas helped! By the time everyone showed up the party was ready.

For eating we had mummy meatloaf (which looked awesome for the first five minutes, then the cheese melted :<) swamp creatures (mac and cheese), oreos rolled in orange and black sprinkles, monster cookies, eyeballs (doughnuts), Halloween shaped sandwiches, pumpkin ghost cupcakes (pumpkin bread with whip cream on top with chocolate chips for eyes/nose), and lots of candy.

For our drink we had witches brew (homemade rootbeer) and juice with eyeballs (cantaloupe balls) and hands (ice in the shape of a hand).

In "the lab" we had cupcakes to decorate and candy necklaces to make.

I also surprised Kellie, Kenzie and Kevin with birthday cakes since we hadn't celebrated them yet.

I had so much fun doing this and a great day spent with my family. I hope everyone had a great time!

Exhausted...
